IFM 102.2 Stereo takes it's social responsibility very serious and to heart. As one of the leading community radio stations in South Africa and a registered Article 21 (none profit organization) IFM 102.2 Stereo cares for it's listeners with the aim not only set to act, respond and take leadership in and with the community but also to give back as much as possible. The IFM 102.2 Stereo - Cares Projects are carefully selected campaigns that are driven by spirited and devoted people coming from a diverse background of our community, sometimes private motivated and others sponsored by leading companies and shareholders from our region and business sector.

IFM 102.2 Stereo has worked together with Arcelor Mittal and other huge industrial identities coming together in one mission of hope and faith for a better tomorrow, today. IFM 102.2 Stereo has taken leadership and has involved it's own staff and employees to become part with community fund raisers and drives like the Blood Drive hosted by the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) and the 2009 Cancer Shavathon in connection with the Cancer Association Of South Africa, we have recently been involved and working together in the community with outreaches like the Soup Kitchen Event and 2009 Spinathon.

It is our common goal and believe that all South Africans should be supported and are deserving of care, help and assistance during dark and troubled times, we will therefore use our resources and power as a community radio station to make this possible in the life's of people from in and around our broadcasting sector to in end become visible and leading towards our social responsibility, partaking and in public view.
